All opening windows have locking handles as standard, and every window is internally beaded — the trims holding the glass in are on the inside, so the glass can't be removed from outside to get into the property. Many of our products are Secured by Design accredited, the official police initiative for designing out crime, and we can supply an endorsed upgrade with extra security on top.

Every window we supply is BFRC A-rated as standard — the highest rating a double glazed window can achieve. Ratings above that need triple glazing, which we can supply, though it costs considerably more than double.

Yes, toughened glazing comes as standard on all our glass units. A lot of firms fit standard double glazed units and charge extra for toughened.

We take them out and take them away. They go to recycling facilities where possible, and are disposed of properly where not.

Yes please — curtains, blinds and anything on the sills need moving before we arrive so the fitters have clear access to the windows.

Not normally. Repairing, fitting or replacing windows and doors doesn't usually need permission unless the building is listed. If you're in a conservation area or another designated area, check with your local planning authority first.
