What we do
Wet building materials lose heat far faster than dry ones. Testing has shown that a damp content of around 5% in a plain brick wall can cut its insulation performance by up to half. Keeping a wall dry is one of the cheapest thermal improvements available to most houses.
ProPERLA coatings are applied to the outside of the building and work by drastically reducing how much water the surface absorbs, while still letting the wall breathe outwards. The result is a drier wall that insulates better, stays cleaner, and gives moss, algae and lichen far less to grow on.

Will a coating trap damp in the wall?
No — these are breathable systems. They stop liquid water getting in from outside while still letting water vapour pass out through the wall. That's the difference between a breathable coating and sealing a wall with masonry paint.
Does masonry crème change how the brick looks?
No. It penetrates into the surface and dries clear, so the brick or stone looks the same. The facade coating is a different product — that one is coloured, and you choose the colour.
How long does it last?
The facade coating has a 25-year life expectancy and a 10-year manufacturer's guarantee. Masonry crème chemically bonds into the substrate and penetrates up to 17mm.
Will it fix damp in my house?
It depends what's causing the damp. Coatings deal with water soaking in through the face of the wall. If the real cause is a leaking gutter, a bridged cavity, ground levels or a failed sill, that has to be fixed first — a coating over the top of a live water source won't solve it.
What guarantees do you offer?
All our windows and doors come with a comprehensive 10-year insurance-backed guarantee, so the cover outlasts the invoice. Roofing and building work carries its own guarantee, and ProPERLA coatings come with a 10-year manufacturer's guarantee on top of ours.
Do you really do all of this yourselves?
Yes. Windows, doors, roofing, building work, electrics and coatings are all our own teams. That's the point of the business — one contract and one point of contact, rather than you co-ordinating five firms and absorbing the gaps between them.
How long does a full house of windows take?
It depends on the number and style, but as a rule a whole house of eight to ten windows is fitted in one to two days. We survey first and manufacture every frame to the exact size of the opening, which keeps time on site down.
How long does a new front door take?
Normally we take the old door out and fit the new one the same day. We'd confirm that at the survey so there are no surprises on the day.
