Full rewires
Whole-house rewires, done room by room so you still have power each evening.
About full rewires
If a house still has a fuse board with rewireable fuses, or sockets with round pins, or cabling in black rubber, it is past due. Rewiring is disruptive but it is a once-in-forty-years job, and it is the one that makes everything else safe.
We do most rewires with people still living in the house. It runs room by room, the power goes back on each evening, and we sheet up and clear as we go rather than at the end.
The same team wires new extensions and conversions at first fix, which is when it should be done rather than chased in afterwards.
Common questions
Can you rewire a house we're still living in?
Yes, that's most of the rewires we do. It's done room by room to keep disruption down, and you'll have power each evening.
What qualifications do your electricians have?
All our electricians are fully qualified, and every job is certificated when it's finished. On rewires you get the paperwork you'd need for a sale or a mortgage valuation.
Will I need replastering afterwards?
Some, where cables are chased into walls. We make good as part of the job rather than leaving you to find a plasterer.
What guarantees do you offer?
All our windows and doors come with a comprehensive 10-year insurance-backed guarantee, so the cover outlasts the invoice. Roofing and building work carries its own guarantee, and ProPERLA coatings come with a 10-year manufacturer's guarantee on top of ours.
