Painting & decorating
Inside or out, with the preparation done before a brush goes anywhere near the wall.
About painting & decorating
The visible part of decorating is the last coat. The part that decides how it looks in two years is everything before it — filling, sanding, caulking, sealing new plaster properly rather than putting emulsion straight onto it.
That is where most of our time on a decorating job goes, and it is the difference between a room that still looks crisp at the skirting and one that does not.
The team has more than thirty years between them, inside and out, including wallpapering, which is a genuinely different skill from painting.
Common questions
What experience does your decorating team have?
More than 30 years between them, inside and out, including wallpapering. The preparation is where most of the time goes, and it's the part that decides how it looks in two years.
Can you decorate after building work?
Yes, and it's usually the right sequence — new plaster needs to dry and then be sealed properly before it's painted.
Do you help with colours?
If you want. Some people know exactly what they want and some would rather someone had an opinion. Either is fine.
What guarantees do you offer?
All our windows and doors come with a comprehensive 10-year insurance-backed guarantee, so the cover outlasts the invoice. Roofing and building work carries its own guarantee, and ProPERLA coatings come with a 10-year manufacturer's guarantee on top of ours.
