The completed roof seen from the scaffold
Our work

Full roof replacement, stripped back and rebuilt

The whole main roof stripped off and replaced — new breathable membrane, treated battens and a new covering, with every ridge, verge and flashing renewed and the lot left weather-tight.

Home/Our work/Full pitched roof replacement

The job

Roof systemsRe-roofing

Full replacement of the existing main house pitched roof, including stripping and removal of the existing roof covering and associated materials. Works included preparation and inspection of the existing roof structure, installation of new breathable roofing membrane and treated timber battens, followed by the installation of the new roof covering.

Associated ridge, verge, flashing and weathering details were renewed as required, with the complete roof finished, sealed and made fully weather-tight. All waste materials were removed from site on completion.

The structure gets looked at properly once the covering is off, which is the only time you can see it. Anything that needs attention is dealt with then rather than being boarded over and left for the next roofer to find.
