ProPERLA masonry crème
A clear, one-coat treatment that soaks into the brick rather than sitting on it — so the wall looks unchanged.
About properla masonry crème
Masonry crème is the answer where you want the wall to stay dry but you do not want to change how it looks. It goes on white and dries clear, so a handsome brick or stone elevation stays a handsome brick or stone elevation.
It chemically bonds to the surface and penetrates up to 17mm into the material, creating an invisible barrier inside the brick rather than a film on top of it. A treated surface absorbs far less water, which means it insulates better, stays cleaner and gives moss, algae and lichen far less to grow on.
It can only be applied to untreated absorbent surfaces — brick, stone, sandstone and similar. If the wall has been painted before, facade coating is the route instead.
Common questions
Will it change the colour of my brickwork?
No. It goes on white and dries clear. That's the whole point of it — the wall looks the same and behaves differently.
Can it go on a painted wall?
No. Masonry crème needs an untreated absorbent surface. On a previously painted wall the facade coating is the right product.
What about the white bloom on my brickwork?
That's efflorescence — salts brought to the surface by water moving through the wall. Existing bloom is cleaned off during preparation, and once the brick repels water the wall dries and stops drawing fresh salts to the face. If it's heavy or comes back quickly there's usually a live water source — a gutter, a bridged cavity, ground levels — that has to be fixed first.
What guarantees do you offer?
